On completing his graduate studies from Kuwait University, with specialization in Commerce, Economics, Political Studies and General Accounting, Tareq Al Shumaimry launched several successful commercial ventures, including in the field of general contracting and trading, as well as in media and event management. He also conceived and launched the highly successful The Times Kuwait newsmagazine in Kuwait and continues as its Founder and Editor-in-Chief.
He has received prestigious certificates from Kuwait University, Kuwait Association of Accountants and Auditors, International Arbitration Association, Institute of Ontario, INC, Canada.
